As each has received a gift, use it to serve another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
– 1 Peter 4:10
The benefits of coastal living are a constant reminder that we have much to be thankful for each day.
Our philosophy in life is to give thanks and give forward, be that in our daily practice or our personal endeavors. Dedicating our time to assist others is a great reward in and of itself; bringing us purpose and satisfaction while building a closeness to those who need a hand.
Over the past twenty-plus years, we have logged many miles and hours working in various voluntary capacities. From missionary trips abroad, post-hurricane assistance in our own backyard, to serving the underserved at holidays, and offering our educated advice on local boards; these efforts have all given us more in return that can be easily explained in mere words. Suffice to say that our spirits are lifted most when we are giving from our hearts.
Our community is at its best when its citizens are investing and actively committed to improving the lives of others.
With humble hearts, we share this collection of pictures from various volunteer activities. May it inspire you to feel that buoyancy of heart as well.
